Understanding Invoices
Accessing Invoices
- Go to Billing → Invoice History
- View all past invoices with date and amount
- Click any invoice to download as PDF
Invoice Sections
Header
- Invoice Number: Unique identifier (e.g., INV-2024-001234)
- Issue Date: When the invoice was generated
- Due Date: Payment deadline
- Status: Paid, Pending, Overdue
Line Items
Your invoice may include:

| Base Subscription | Your plan cost (e.g., Professional Plan - $12/user) |
| User Count | Number of active users in the billing period |
| Prorated Charges | Partial month charges for mid-cycle changes |
| Credits | Discounts, refunds, or promotional credits |
| Tax | Applicable sales tax based on your location |
User Billing Explained
You're billed based on active users:
- Active User: Any employee who tracked time during the billing period
- Adding Users: Prorated charge added to next invoice
- Removing Users: Credit applied to next invoice
- Inactive Users: Users who didn't track are not charged
Tip: Deactivate users who leave the company immediately to avoid being billed for them.
Tax Information
To add your tax ID for invoices:
- Go to Billing → Company Information
- Enter your company name and address
- Add your VAT/Tax ID number
- Save changes
Disputing an Invoice
If you believe an invoice is incorrect:
- Go to Billing → Invoice History
- Click the invoice in question
- Click "Dispute Invoice"
- Describe the issue
- Our team will respond within 2 business days
