How do I install the Monwurx desktop client? ▼
Download the installer from our Downloads page, run it, and follow the setup wizard. The client will automatically start tracking after you log in with your company credentials.
What are the system requirements? ▼
Windows 10/11, macOS 11+, or Ubuntu 20.04+. Requires 4GB RAM minimum and 500MB disk space. Internet connection required for syncing.
How do I add employees to my team? ▼
Go to your Dashboard > Employees > Add Employee. Enter their email and they will receive an invite link to set up their profile and download the desktop client.
Privacy & Security
Is employee monitoring legal? ▼
Yes, when employees are informed. Most jurisdictions allow monitoring of company-owned devices with proper disclosure. Monwurx helps you comply with consent requirements.
How is my data protected? ▼
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Screenshots are stored in secure cloud storage with access controls. We are SOC 2 Type II compliant.
Can employees see what is being tracked? ▼
Yes! The desktop client shows a visible indicator when monitoring is active. Employees can view their own activity data in their personal dashboard.
