How Screenshot Capture Works
Monwurx captures screenshots at regular intervals to provide visual context for productivity data. Here's everything you need to know about this feature.
Capture Settings
Administrators can configure the following settings:
Screenshot Interval
- 5 minutes: High-detail monitoring
- 10 minutes: Balanced (default)
- 15 minutes: Less frequent
- 30 minutes: Minimal monitoring
Quality Settings
- High (1080p): Clear, detailed images
- Medium (720p): Good quality, smaller files
- Low (480p): Fastest upload, basic detail
AI-Powered Privacy Protection
Our AI automatically detects and blurs sensitive content:
- Password fields and login forms
- Credit card numbers
- Banking and financial websites
- Healthcare/medical information
- Personal messaging apps (if configured)
Privacy First: All blurring happens on the device BEFORE the screenshot is uploaded. Sensitive data never leaves your computer.
Manual Blur Zones
Employees can define permanent blur zones on their screen:
- Right-click the Monwurx tray icon
- Select "Privacy Zones"
- Draw rectangles over areas to always blur
- Save your configuration
Viewing Screenshots
Screenshots are accessible in the dashboard:
- Timeline View: Chronological scroll through the day
- Gallery View: Grid of thumbnails
- Activity View: Screenshots grouped by app
Data Retention

Deletion: Screenshots can be manually deleted at any time by admins. Deleted screenshots cannot be recovered.
