Desktop Client Settings
Accessing Settings
Open settings by:
- Right-clicking the system tray icon → "Settings"
- From the Activity Viewer, click the gear icon
General Settings

Tracking Settings
These settings may be locked by your administrator:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Screenshot interval | How often screenshots are captured (1-30 minutes) |
| Screenshot quality | Image quality: Low, Medium, High |
| Blur sensitive content | Use AI to blur passwords and personal information |
| Idle timeout | Time without activity before marking as idle |
| Track window titles | Record the titles of active windows |
Note: Settings with a lock icon 🔒 are controlled by your administrator and cannot be changed locally.
Privacy Settings
- Privacy mode shortcut: Customize the hotkey for quick access
- Privacy mode limit: View your daily privacy mode allowance
- Excluded applications: Apps that are never tracked (set by admin)
Network Settings
- Sync interval: How often data is uploaded to the server
- Offline mode: Continue tracking when internet is unavailable
- Bandwidth limit: Maximum upload speed for screenshots
- Proxy configuration: For networks requiring a proxy server
Advanced Settings
Warning: Only modify these settings if you know what you're doing.
- Log level: Control the amount of diagnostic logging
- Data directory: Where local data is stored temporarily
- Clear local cache: Delete temporary files
- Reset to defaults: Restore all settings to default values
