Before installing, ensure your system meets these requirements:
Windows
- Windows 10 (version 1903+) or Windows 11
- 4 GB RAM minimum
- 100 MB free disk space
- Administrator privileges for installation
macOS
- macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later
- Apple Silicon (M1/M2) or Intel processor
- 4 GB RAM minimum
- 100 MB free disk space
Linux
- Ubuntu 20.04+ or compatible distribution
- X11 or Wayland display server
- 4 GB RAM minimum
Installation Steps
Windows Installation
- Download
MonwurxSetup.exefrom your dashboard - Right-click the file and select "Run as administrator"
- Follow the installation wizard
- Sign in with your Monwurx credentials when prompted
macOS Installation
- Download
Monwurx.dmgfrom your dashboard - Open the DMG and drag Monwurx to Applications
- Open Monwurx from Applications
- Grant required permissions (Screen Recording, Accessibility)
- Sign in with your credentials
macOS Permissions: You must enable Screen Recording permission in System Preferences → Security & Privacy → Privacy for screenshots to work.
Linux Installation
# Download and install
wget https://monwurx.com/downloads/monwurx-linux.deb
sudo dpkg -i monwurx-linux.deb
sudo apt-get install -f
# Launch
monwurx
Verifying Installation
After installation, you should see:
- A Monwurx icon in your system tray
- Green indicator = monitoring active
- Gray indicator = monitoring paused
Pro Tip: Right-click the tray icon to access quick actions like pausing monitoring or viewing your dashboard.
